Form I-9

Description

There were many changes recently made by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services when they recently published a revised version of the I-9 Form that employers need to now understand.  In addition to many other changes, there is a new checkbox that employers enrolled in E-Verify can use to indicate they have remotely examined the documents under a new alternative procedure that has now been authorized by the Department of Homeland Security.

What is now required to be able to participate in the remote examination of Form I-9 documents under the DHS-authorized alternative procedure?  Do employers have to be enrolled in E-Verify to use this procedure?  Do they need to conduct a live video interaction with the employee?  The answers to these and many other questions will be provided during this live in-depth I-9 webinar.
